Management Team

SHAVINGS-DIRECT™ is managed by a group of individuals that have over 10 years experience in the wood shavings sales and transportation business. Each of our management team brings to the table a different talent unique to this business. Our goal is and will always be to run the most efficient well managed company of our type; this will give our customers the service they should expect from their supplier.

Experience: Over the years, we have learned that a system where duties are passed from department-to-department creates communication and responsibility passing. This creates problems for the customer that needs to communicate with sales, transportation and billing because each member of the team is never fully responsible for the customer’s order. We do not handle our sales this way.  

Process: Here we keep our system simple. The same contact in our operations center will price your order, arrange transportation and take care of billing to make sure everything goes well. This makes the experience pleasant because you only have to deal with one person from our team every time you order.

Operations: Our company headquarters based in Pine Bush New York has a fully functional operations center that is staffed from 7:30 am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. From this office all aspects of sales, purchasing, transportation and accounting are managed on a daily basis. When you send us an inquiry a member of our operations team personally works on your order and handles it through the sales and delivery process.
