Shavings Direct™ offers a split-load option for customers that wish
to split a load of shavings with a friend or neighbor. This can
be a great way for small farms that do not have the means to buy
or store a full semi load of wood shavings to save money.
What we offer is the option to split the load, have it delivered
to 2 different locations and pay for it separately. Split loads
will add an additional cost of between 200 to 600 dollars to your
total bag cost average providing the 2 delivery points are within
25 miles of each other. The most simple and efficient split load
option is for you to have the products delivered to one central
location where you divide the load up between the parties. This
will save you money because the trucker does not have to make a
2nd time consuming stop.
